Rusting Frame- French doors
This awful installation cost me $$$and many hours of repair.  The rotten sub floor had to be replaced along with the floor joists (cause=leaky doors).  You can see clearly the water seeping in and the rusting frames. The paint is also starting to bubble from the rust. Unacceptable this door is only a couple of years old and if i had not removed the rug to put down a new hardwood floor it would have been even worse.

Rotting subfloor Notice the white self adhesive foam/felt the tech field guy came out to fix it with. He slapped that on between the two doors and mullion and handed me a tube of caulk and left ????  (OMG! WTF!).

Bad caulk Look at this beauty of a caulk job on several thousand dollar main house entry dollar door. It baffles me? Oh, notice the finish below the window and most everywhere is peeling off and fading. The trim around several of the windows has warped from the sun and  still needs to be replaced(Barrier Windows won't replace or fix it). WOW! only a couple of years old...that's just pathetic! How does barrier window sleep at night. oh nice i am now in the process of removing this door also the main front entry door which also leaks and ruined the floor under the carpet and the oak molding. This is due to a bad install and poor Quality Doors from Barrier Windows and not from lack of maintenance. Just for the record I am a Contractor so any maintenance is always done.

More leaks Check out this picture you can see the watter seep in through the door rubber strip that is supposed to stop water from coming in. Also notice there rust and paint peeling here too.

Mold- Here's a nice picture of some mold/mushroom growth I scraped off the bulk of it. The solid oak wood trim and carpet are ruined as the mold permanently destroyed it. mmm Nice and sanitary too. Gee......Thanks for the mold Barrier Window...NOT!!!

Gaskets are junk too. here you can actually see daylight through the window cranks. A nice handy place for bugs to enter the house not to mention the Winter COLD!! ahhhh who needs air tight windows and doors with todays heating oil prices!

More bad gaskets and stripped screws one crank handles screw hole is stripped and the silly foam? gaskets are falling out here too.

Another Broken window. This Custom window just made a very large sound when it broke for no reason (strange). My five year old and I were sitting on the living room floor when, BANG!. It was the inner pane of glass the blew. I cant believe it all didn't fall out. Barrier Windows will not even come look at it nor will they give me the window specs. so i can try to order a new one. Oh... that's real nice service I tell ya.(What a bunch of !@*$) This is going to be fun to remove and clean up.

WOW

Disgusting Siding install was cut way too far at the top of the door. Maybe the installer was blind, oh wait... you could still feel that,  must be Barrier Windows just didn't know what they hell they were doing or didn't really care. possibly the siding was not done by barrier, but as far as I can tell it looks like the same piss poor quality work.

Oops I Did it Again- must have been listening to that Britney Spears song. Well apparently Barrier Windows doesnt learn from their mistakes..Barrier Windows did it again on the other side of the door OMG! , and yes Barrier Windows still installed it that way. Duh??? Hello earth to Installer.. you think maybe the homeowner is going to see that ? Huhmmm, Maybe if I mess it up and do it on both sides it will look right?  errrr  uhhh..  NOT!!

Here is the handle of another entry door. The screws will not tighten, they have rusted out and the screw holes are rusted out too. The  middle screw and top screw I pulled straight out with my fingers(sheet rock screws again). There is a nice gap here too. Barrier Windows should have used brass screws to match the hardware. who woulda thunk it!

Ok now lets move on to some more fabulous siding and caulking

check out this quality job,  gee..I wonder what happens when it rains on this section of siding not to mention the parts I cannot see, oh my!!... not even overlapped just a little bit. hummmm ? yup more water and bugs getting where they shouldn't be and destroying my home.

Well here, it's just coming apart pretty self explanatory need I say more. It does this on a regular basis in random places. Yes the siding installers nailed it too tightly and cut many pieces too short to begin with.

Here it's just not long enough. Why, Why,Why ? Thats not even an oops, that's just Barrier Window don't give a hoot attitude. errrr? WTF ! Who does stuff like that.

Here is a strange way to seal up a garage door, ? Piece together the weatherstrip? HUH? golly gee. I know for a fact that comes in lengths where you need no but seams. That explains those piles of snow that mysteriously appears in may garage right near the seem HUH ! Ponderous. Well they're more like small snow drifts. Yup Barrier Windows did it on both doors, both sides of each door,.. but not the worry tops where you would get the least amount of rain or snow are well you guessed it full length piece, Huh... Another baffling one!

Huh guess there's no need to piece it on top when you caulk it oh so nice like this.

Here is some nice stains/marks left by the rusting screws I have replaced some of them with new screws that don't rust but the damage is done.

 There's a little bit of everything going on here. Nice... the paint is falling right off the top of this door, ...Oh! and the bottom too. I'm thinking factory used no primer at all? probably cost too much for them.

Lifetime warranty my A**!

 Here the door just hits the jamb as it opens and closes, you can see all the scratching of the paint here. Oh Look!  more rusting sheet rock screws. and a silver one too. what no matching screws? The two tone look ..Makes me wana vomit..

Well, well... well. look at this hinge, member that song " one of these things is not like the other" can you find what's wrong here

Yup! there it is, Barrier Window just left the plastic right on the door and screwed the hinge over it, and if you look there is another sheet rock screw(AKA  flimsy drywall screw)
